Wir haben unseren klassischen Rye Whiskey in ausgesuchten Süßweinfässern gelagert. Das Ergebnis ist eine bezaubernde Romanze, zwischenbodengemälzter Gerste und Roggen von der Dänischen Westküste und speziell ausgesuchter Süßweinfässer.
Die Idee ist zweifellos einfach. Hier trifft Getreide von der Dänischen Westküste auf südeuropäische Weintrauben. Die Kombination der fruchtigen und süßen Note des Rye Whiskeys,gepaart mit den vielfältigen Merkmalen der feinen SüßweineSüdeuropas.
Wir haben unseren Rye Whisky auf First Fill Marsala-, Gewürtztraminer- und Ramandolo Fässer gelagert und deshalb einen außergewöhnlich, fruchtigen und verführerischen Whisky geschaffen. Die besonderen Aromen erinnern an Spätsommer auf dem Lande.

Curious fact
A merger between South European grapes and Nordic rye and barley.
After three years on new American oak casks, the whisky was transferred in to Marsala-, Gewürtztraminer- and Ramandalo casks, where it matured additionally for up to two years.
The unfiltered whisky is, as always, made on nothing but local ingredients, malted on the floor and double-distilled in open-fired pot stills: A genuine terroir whisky from the West Coast of Jutland that has had distinguished visitors from the South.

Taste
A gentle explosion of roasted rye kernels, ripe fruits, dark caramel and malt. In the nose, we find citrus and sweet berries and apples. In the mouth; fruity and full-bodied with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and pickled ginger and a bittersweet aftertaste. This is Next Level Smoothness.

Distilled: 04/2018. Bottled: 03/2022.
Casks
3 years in new American oak casks. Then up to 2 years additionally in First Fill Marsala-, Gewürtztraminer- og Ramandalo casks.
