About us:

These are the 9 founders of Stauning Whisky that started an unusual journey back in 2005. Their mission was to create a Danish whisky that could compete with the best in the world.
Outside the small village of Stauning, we are making whisky the Stauning way: Local grains, floor malting and direct-fired small pot stills.
That's how our whisky best reflect the surroundings by the West Coast: the wind, the soil, the crops, the water and the peat.

Stauning Whisky is a distillery located in a remote village on the West Coast of Denmark, founded by nine friends in 2005 and has since become a global success with many awards to prove the quality of the products. 

The key elements of the products are: The wind, the sea, the fields, the heather, the peat and some of Denmark's finest water. We work within the premium spirits segment and we are looking for a brand ambassador to be the face of Stauning Whisky. 

Our future Brand Ambassador works towards building brand and driving commercial growth against specific goals and can tap into their existing relationships with retailers and decision makers. The person we are looking for has a creative mind and knows how to connect our brand with an influential consumer and customer audience.

We value commitment, loyalty, passion, drive, an innovative mindset and the ability to build and maintain long term relationships, and we are looking for someone who will honor and fulfil these requirements.

The key purpose and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Conducting brand training, master classes, education and tasting events, and much more to increase brand engagement around the world - both On & Off Trade
• Working closely with internal sales teams and distributors, providing e.g. training in order to deliver improved knowledge and sales performance.
• Identifying target accounts, key market influencers and building relationships with bartenders, retailers, and distributors sales team
• Assisting in the development of sales and brand toolkits with the marketing team
• Representing the brand positively in a multitude of settings and generating word of mouth marketing by being an opinion leader in the community
• Providing feedback and insights on market development and new product/services
• Promoting the brand via SoMe accounts - personal and company accounts

Required Qualifications:

It's a two days a week position, and we prefer that you are based in Paris or nearby.

• 25+ years old
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
• Driver’s License
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
• Capability of working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
• Proactive approach – “can do” mentality

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Candidate would ideally reside in Paris
• Minimum 2 years of sales or marketing experience
• Undergraduate degree 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both the local language and English


To be considered for this fantastic opportunity it is important that you have strong experience working in the premium spirits industry. If you have a background in whisky it will be a distinct advantage.

You will ideally have worked as a brand ambassador and have connections in your local market with both distributors, bars and end user customers. You are used to working in a structured manner, based on data, and with monthly KPI’s and reporting systems in place. Having a passion for the premium drinks industry is an absolute must.
