We have matured our classic Rye Whisky in sweet wine casks and conceived a love child between floor-malted Danish grains and some of the world's finest dessert wines.
A merger between South European grapes and Nordic rye and barley might sound strange. However, once you taste the combination of the rye whisky's fruity and sweet notes with the complexity of some of the finest dessert wines, you realise how obviously right the idea is.
Additionally matured in Marsala, Gewürtztraminer and Ramandalo casks
We have stored our Rye Whisky on First Fill Marsala, Gewürtztraminer and Ramandalo casks and created an unusually fruity and seductive whisky that oozes late summer in the countryside.
The unfiltered whisky is, as always, made on nothing but local ingredients, malted on the floor and double-distilled in open-fired pot stills: A genuine terroir whisky from the West Coast of Jutland that has had distinguished visitors from the South.
