This highball cocktail might fix a lot of things, though unfortunately not quite like actual penicillin. The cocktail was invented by Sam Ross at New York City’s famous Milk & Honey bar.

The taste is very reminiscent of a Whisky Sour, though with a spicy and sweet twist from the ginger and honey. Freshly served with carbonated ginger beer.

What you need

Recipe

  • 4 cl Stauning Smoke Single Malt Whisky
  • 2 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Ginger beer
STEPS TO TAKE

Instructions

  • Add whisky, lemon juice and honey in a highball glass with ice
  • Give it a quick but gentle stir
  • Top with ginger beer
