Stauning RØG Single Malt Whisky is a marriage of Stauning Peat and Stauning Heather. We took the bold, wet and earthy phenols from Peat and combined it with the lighter, sweeter, herbal bonfire phenols from Heather. Brought together in Stauning RØG, it is the liquid embodiment of our region - our Terroir...
Tasting Notes:
"Biscuity nose, with a sweet touch of oak and smoke. The palate is well balanced, with spiced caramel, light smoke which doesn’t overpower, pepper. The sweetness intensifies along with vanilla spice. The finish is more youthful and very long. Lots of smoke and spice." - World Whiskies Awards
