This marks a significant milestone for Stauning, as our double malt - Stauning HØST becomes our first whisky to be listed in one of the UK’s leading premium retailers. The introduction of HØST to Waitrose not only strengthens our presence in the UK but also brings our unique Danish whisky to a broader audience. Whether you’re a whisky enthusiast or just starting your journey, Høst is designed to be enjoyed by everyone.
Retailing at £47, HØST has quickly become a standout choice for whisky lovers. Crafted to reflect the essence of our Danish homeland, it combines smoothness, balance, and a rich depth of flavor that has already captured hearts in the UK since its launch in April 2024.

HØST, meaning "Harvest" in Danish, reflects the beauty of Denmark's natural landscape, from the fields of West Jutland to the distillery where we bring this unique spirit to life. Aged in first-fill bourbon and heavily charred new American white oak casks, then finished in first-fill port barriques, HØST delivers a fruit-forward profile with floral undertones, perfect for sipping neat or in cocktails.

Introducing the Stauning Elder’s Fizz Cocktail
Stauning HØST is more than just a whisky – it’s a tribute to Denmark's harvest season. From its smooth notes of vanilla, honey, and toffee, to the aromatic finish of oak and spice, HØST is a versatile whisky designed to elevate your favorite cocktails. One of our favorites is the Stauning Elder’s Fizz, a refreshing and floral cocktail that celebrates the essence of Danish wildflowers.
Recipe:
- 2cl Stauning HØST
- 2cl Elderflower liqueur
- Chilled sparkling wine
Instructions:
- Chill a cocktail or champagne glass by filling it with ice.
- In a mixing glass, combine Stauning HØST and elderflower liqueur with ice.
- Stir to combine and chill the mixture.
- Discard the ice from your glass, strain in the mixture, and top with chilled sparkling wine.
