Stauning Gin is a Danish dry gin made with the same uncompromising dedication to craft as our whisky. Built on classic gin ingredients and shaped by a final touch of locally harvested pine shoots, it’s clean and full in flavour with a soft, elegant mouthfeel.
The recipe is simple and considered, with no shortcuts. Juniper leads, lifted by lemon peel and gentle spice, with light herbal notes adding depth. The pine shoots give the gin its distinctive expression and a clear connection to Stauning - soft, expressive, and unmistakably Danish in its restraint.
Fresh, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, this gin is made to shine in a classic Gin & Tonic, finished with a strip of lemon peel to highlight the bright citrus notes.
Juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, liquorice root, and lemon peel create a balanced flavour profile, finished with a light touch of locally harvested pine shoots.
The botanicals steep in alcohol for 24 hours, then are distilled in a traditional, direct-fired copper pot still using the one-shot method. During distillation, the best part of the spirit, the heart, is carefully selected, and heads and tails are discarded.
Finally, the gin is diluted to 43% ABV with clear, fresh water from Stauning.

AUTHENTIC
