In celebration of two decades of Danish craftsmanship, we’ve teamed up with fellow trailblazers Mikkeller to mark our 20th anniversary with something truly special: Porcelæn – a West Coast IPA brewed by Mikkeller with Stauning Whisky at its heart.
Brewed at Warpigs in Copenhagen and made with our own floor-malted rye and barley, this beer isn’t just influenced by whisky – it’s built on it. The malt composition mirrors the backbone of our whisky, HØST, while the carefully selection of three different hops reflect the fruity and floral notes found in the whisky. The result is a bold, fruity, and malt-forward IPA that balances refreshment with complexity.
The result is a drink that bridges our worlds: the expert craftsmanship of floor-malting and the creativity of craft brewing, coming together in a refreshing beer.

This year marks a special milestone for both Stauning and Mikkeller – our porcelain anniversary. To celebrate, we took our beloved whisky, HØST, and asked: what if this was a beer? The answer is Porcelæn – a crisp yet layered West Coast IPA built on our signature malt. Its complexity is no accident. It comes from the same carefully crafted Danish rye and barley that defines our whisky.
This isn't our first time crossing paths. Over the years, Mikkeller has aged beers in Stauning Whisky casks, and what started as collaboration has grown into something more – a shared passion for quality, flavour, and the art of pushing boundaries.
Born in the same decade, we’ve both played a role in reshaping the landscape of Danish craftsmanship. Porcelæn is the latest chapter in that story – a drink for beer lovers, whisky lovers, and anyone who appreciates Danish craftsmanship.
