Stauning Smoke Signal
Stauning Smoke Signal
The Stauning Smoke Signal is our version of the classic Rusty Nail. The Rusty Nail is a true example of how something extremely simple can be quite perfect.
Consisting of only two ingredients, three if you stretch it, the Rusty Nail is a most wonderful acquaintance, and we promise you that the Stauning Smoke Signal will be too.
Traditionally, a Rusty Nail is scotch combined with Drambuie, a whisky liqueur from the Isle of Skye, which, legend has it, stems from a recipe handed to Clan Mackinnon by Prince Charles E. Stuart in 1746. True or not, Drambuie is a wonderful spirit with lots of honey and vanilla. We feel that our new make is perfect with Drambuie for our version of the Rusty Nail with its slightly creamy mouthfeel, and notes of smoke and earth. For the full experience, a twisted lemon peel in the glass is paramount.
Recipe

- 2 cl Drambuie liqueur
- 1 lemon peel
Instructions
