Stauning HØST, meaning "Harvest" in Danish, pays tribute to the changing seasons that shape the local grains used in our whisky. This gift set provides a rare opportunity to experience two distinct expressions of Stauning’s innovative, grain-to-glass approach.
Stauning HØST is a delicate and elegant whisky, with ripe fruit, floral notes, and a hint of vanilla, making it an excellent sipping whisky or a refined cocktail base. Stauning Rye, with its rich spice, dark fruit, and toasted oak, brings a bold contrast, showcasing the depth of flavour achieved through Stauning’s signature production methods.
Using the best raw materials and most traditional production methods:
Classic
A true Stauning expression – a smooth and fruit-forward Double Malt alongside our signature Rye Whisky.
Local
Grains and water for the whisky comes from local sources, all within a bicycle ride from the distillery
Authentic
Grains are 100% floor malted and kiln dried at the distillery
Complexity
Matured on-site in heavily charred new American white oak barrels, and first-fill Port barriques.
Character
Double-distilled in 24 small, direct-fired copper pot stills.
