Bobby Burns Cocktail

Bobby Burns Cocktail

Bobby Burns Cocktail

Whether or not a sip of Bobby Burns can wake the poet in you, we cannot say. What we can say is that this cocktail is named after Scottish poet Robert Burns, and it is almost poetic in its genius composition.

A lovely trio of sweet Vermouth, scotch and French monk's liqeur, Dom Benedictine. At Stauning, we like to use our Heather expression for a Bobby Burns, and for this particular cocktail, we love the Antica Formula sweet vermouth from Carpano.

Because we use heather and not peat for this whisky, the smoke on the nose and palate is more floral and a little more restrained. The taste and the fragrance of a Bobby Burns made with Stauning Heather will surely transport you to the grassy highlands of Scotland and the moor of Western Jutland.
